I’m Eliza Cross, and I’m glad you’re here. I love exploring how less stuff, spending, and stress can equal more peace and more time for the things that matter.
Since 2006, the Happy Simple Living blog has followed our family’s efforts to live more simply, get organized, save money, enjoy good food together, make sustainable choices, garden organically, eliminate debt, and most importantly — laugh and have more fun.
This is also the home of the annual January Money Diet, a month-long spending break you can do any time of year.
How About You?
Does the idea of simplicity appeal to you, too? Perhaps you yearn for financial freedom, getting back to basics, or having more unstructured time to create, think, recharge your batteries, and relax.
If you could focus on your true priorities, what would that look like for you? These are my simple living priorities and goals, if you want to take a peek.
Our path to happy simple living is a work in progress, and I invite you to join us in the journey. Along the way, I hope you’ll share your comments, ideas and revelations about living simply and practicing the art of less.
