Daffodils emerging toward the sunshine.

Happy April, friend!

I was listening to Mel Robbins’ podcast recently, and she spoke about her good habit of not leaving dirty pans to soak overnight.

It’s one of those simple ideas that makes such a difference, right? Because who wants to start a new day with a dirty pot full of grody water?

I’ve been guilty of doing this this countless times! (The elves never come and scrub that pot for me!)

A bouquet of fresh daffodils and a cup of coffee.

Mel says, “A great morning begins the night before.” I feel this, in the same way that I always feel happy when the aroma of just-brewed coffee greets me each morning from the automatic coffeemaker.

Sometimes just taking a few little extra steps can greatly improve the next day. Want to give the idea a try this week?

Here are 5 things you can do today to make your tomorrow better.

If you try these ideas, I’d love to hear from you in the comments below!

We’ve also got a “berry” special giveaway for you, a spring pie recipe you’ll love, garden planning, spring cleaning and more.

Until next month,

Eliza
