101 Things To Do With Pumpkin cookbook

My newest cookbook has just been released by Gibbs Smith, and I’m so excited to share it with you. 101 Things To Do With Pumpkin is filled with easy recipes featuring one of autumn’s most wonderful treats (did you guess already?) — the pumpkin.

Pumpkin patch | Happy Simple Living

This book was so much fun to write and test, and in addition to testing six different pies for the Desserts chapter I enjoyed developing new treats like Pumpkin Caramel Cinnamon Rolls, dinners like Pumpkin Apple Pecan Chicken, and desserts like Decadent Pumpkin Butter Cake

  1. My favorite way to enjoy pumpkin is while I’m using it to make yummy recipes for my family. Each member likes a different recipe, so I go through quite a bit each year making at least one treat per week while we have fresh pumpkins. The rest are put up for later, or turned into lots of breads to give as gifts.

  2. Pumpkin pie is great but what I really like is to take the pie filling and bake it in custard cups. Just makes me happy to think about those little bowls of yummy goodness.

  3. I really love to use pumpkin in savory recipes, in particular to make delicious creamy pumpkin soup or curried pumpkin soup, and to add pumpkin to chili – it’s so delicious!

  5. Fall is my favorite season! I love the smell of the air, the crisp cool mornings, and of course Halloween.

There is nothing like making pumpkin bread and family favorite pumpkin dump cake. I would love to know more ways to use pumpkin.

    Happy Fall!

  8. I love everything pumpkin, except pumpkin lattes . . Just don’t like coffee. Favorite is pumpkin cookies. Found it in my very first cookbook my mom gave me. Yes it was a Betty Crocker cook ok. Add an icing on top the cookie and then I had a piece of candy corn just to make it more festive. But truly prefer the cookies with ought the icing and the candy corn . . .then I can really taste the pumpkin!!!!!!!
