Before I became a full-time writer, I worked for a regional magazine publisher. Something I noticed over and over during my 16 years in the publishing business was that the most successful executives across all industries were generous about sharing and helping others. The CEOs, VPs and salespeople who were more concerned about the good of the whole industry than just their own piece of it seemed to flourish.
I’ve always appreciated that philosophy, which is why I am part of a blogging community called Yakezie.
Yakezie is the web’s largest network of personal finance and lifestyle bloggers. Members share a goal of helping readers lead better lives, and we also support each other through shared expertise and encouragement.
In the coming months, I look forward to introducing you to some of the other bloggers in the Yakezie community and sharing their voices with you. In the meantime, if you’re curious about Yakezie you can read more here.
P.S. Have you signed up for the January Money Diet yet?
